Brian, Mary, and Tyler Stahl would like to welcome you to Middlecreek Farms,
located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Brian & I both grew up on a dairy farm and
knew that we wanted cattle, but didn't want to be "tied down" with the demands of a full-time dairy. So our Longhorn journey
began in 2001 when I bought Brian a Longhorn heifer for his birthday.
One quickly turned into a small herd as a result of our growing love and passion for the breed. Over the last few years we have selected the best cattle that we could afford
from some of the most respected breeders from across the country. We decided that the best way to produce top quality cattle
was through a very selective AI program. In doing so, we have developed a quality foundation on which we can continue to build
on.

Rex is a prime example of our successful AI program. We believe that he is the total package. He is very long, tall and correct
with a heavy horn base.
In 2005 & 2006 we made the long trip
to Texas with him to compete in the Horn Showcase. Both years he took the honors of being named a Horn Showcase Champion. In
the fall of 2006 we sold him to Red McCombs Ranches of Johnson City, Texas, but we have retained semen on him for our own
personal use. We are extremely pleased with the quality and consistency of calves that he is producing.
